Deputy Manager

You should be a true leader and ready to tackle any issues that arise with the young people and staff team. You should take into consideration others points of views whilst being empathetic. The ideal candidate will have management experience, be ambitious and a one-of-a-kind leader.

What does the role involve?

Provide Support
Not only to the registered manager but to the staff team, carrying out supervisions, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to, completing rota’s, risk assessments and more.
Build Relationships
Listen to the young people’s wishes and feelings and safeguard them whilst building positive relationships.
Build Relationships
All young people are different and will sometimes need high levels of supervision, you should be able to meet
the needs of children with challenging and complex behaviour with your focus being the best possible outcomes.
Use Initiative
Teach everyday life skills to the young people like cooking and cleaning and oversee adhoc duties in the home by delegating work.

What requirements are there?

You should have a full UK Driving Licence.

Be 22 years of age or above.

#3

Level 3 in Children and young people.

#4

Experience working in a residential setting with young people.
